CANDLE CARE

1. First Burn Matters

When lighting your candle for the first time, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the container. This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn for the life of the candle. This may take 2-3 hours, but it’s worth it!

2. Trim the Wick

Before each burn, always trim the wick to 1/4 inch. This helps prevent the flame from getting too large and ensures a cleaner burn with less soot. A properly trimmed wick also helps the candle last longer and minimizes smoke.

3. Burn Time Guidelines

For the best experience, burn your candle for no more than 3-4 hours at a time. Burning it for longer periods can cause the candle to overheat, which can shorten the life of the candle. If you want more fragrance, simply relight the candle after it cools down.

4. Keep It Clean

To prevent soot buildup on the candle's glass, make sure to keep the wick centered and straight. If there is any excess soot on the sides of the glass, carefully wipe it with a damp cloth once the candle has cooled.

5. Avoid Drafts

Keep your candle away from drafts, vents, or fans. Drafts can cause uneven burning, excess flickering, and smoke. For the best ambiance, place your candle in a calm, steady spot.

6. Extinguish the Flame Safely

To extinguish your candle, use a wick dipper or snuffer. Avoid blowing the candle out, as this can create excess smoke and potentially damage the wick.

7. Store Properly

When not in use, store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. This will help preserve the fragrance and quality of the wax.

With these simple steps, your luxury candles will provide a long-lasting, fragrant ambiance for your home
