OUR MISSION
A note from our founders.
Our journey began with a simple mission: to create the best self care products for women. We started Mood Self Care during the 2020 pandemic to help women with their mental health and well-being through scented candles. During this time, we really focused on our mental health and well being. We would buy a lot of scented candles but didn't like many of the candles out there - many of them have harmful ingredients, are mass produced, and the quality sucks.
So, we got to work creating environmental friendly and sustainable scented candles. After months of reasearching the cleanest and highest quality ingredients and months of testing different formulas, we created our proprietary scented candle formula.
Aside from wanting to create the cleanest and highest quality scented candles, we didn't want to be just another candle brand. We wanted to be a brand with a meaningful purpose, mission, and actually stand for something other than a logo, so we decided to support women's mental health by donating a portion of every purchase to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Every single candle, scent, design, social media post, email, and handwritten thank you note is made by us.
